About

Natasha Mazzoni

I offer short term and open-ended therapy for individuals. After living in working in the UK, for most of my life, I recently relocated to Italy.

I offer online one to one sessions for those based in the UK, Italy, or potentially elsewhere, and also in person sessions at my consulting room.

I can work in both English and Italian. I have experience working with adults and young people from a variety of backgrounds.

I am a registered professional member of the BACP - British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and abide by their ethical framework and guidelines.  The BACP ensures that all its members are appropriately trained and qualified, and adhere to their code of ethics.

I trained in psychodynamic therapy at the Manor House Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy and The Highgate Counselling Centre (HCC), in North London.  I follow a programme of continuing professional development to support my clinical work, deepen my knowledge and enable my clinical practice to evolve and be current.

Alongside my private practice, I have been a counsellor with a university student wellbeing service in England, and provided counselling for individuals at HCC, where I also fulfilled the role of assistant tutor on the counselling skills course. I continue to provide online counselling for HCC clients.

In addition to my work as a counsellor, I was the project officer for the Haringey Suicide Prevention Group, based at Mind in Haringey (MiH) in London. With the support of MiH I was responsible for coordinating and developing links between statutory and non-statutory mental health organisations across North London, alongside families and individuals affected by suicide, ultimately to develop a more informed strategy for suicide prevention in Haringey.
